This weekend was fun, lot’s of turkey and pumpkin pie!! 
I **love pumpkin pie** but I only let myself have 1 slice, a bigger slice, but only 1 oh, and guess what Chloe’s Thanksgiving dinner consisted of?? M&M’s and pumpkin pie…yeah she wouldn’t touch anything, not the beans, or carrots, not even a roll! we tried so hard to get her to eat something, and then my Grandma snuck her 3 bags of M&M’s!! oh well, she finally ate something once we got home. After we ate, we took out the four-wheelers, I was so numb by the time we got back to the house it felt weird to walk, but it was a blast I haven’t been on four-wheelers in forever!! then we played games and went home.
Every year I think about going shopping on black friday, but then I end up staying in bed, it’s much warmer!! I did end up going about 10 though, and got some really good stuff for really good prices…61/2 ft pre-lit Christmas tree for $30 and a few other things, i didn’t go crazy about buying things, I really didn’t know what to get people yet, so I just kind of wandered happy to be out by myself
We put up the tree last night, Chloe begged, mainly cause I got a Mickey Mouse train to go around it, we had it all set up then the train didn’t even work! Chloe was a little disappointed, but she had so much fun decorating it, she keeps pulling the stuff off so she can do it again. I exchanged the train today so we’ll see if this one works:)

So how do you explain to your child that as a parent you can put them in time out but they can’t put us in time out???
We have put Chloe in timeout a few times for not listening and stuff like that, but the other day Vince was doing something that Chloe wasn’t happy about and she told him to go to timeout, I think he just told her something like she can’t tell us to go to timeout or something, I wasn’t there I was out doing some shopping. She hasn’t done it since but I’ve been trying to think of something to say to her if she tries something like that again…so any suggestions on what to say to a 2 year old on that subject would be helpful I’m clueless.

Aloha Hawaii, (and that’s not Hello, it’s a Goodbye) Vince got a call on Tuesday morning from Corporate saying that for us the trip is canceled, the people who were not on the original list for the trip are uninvited, apparently the whiney sales managers wanted to bring some other people with them and when they found out all the spots have been filled they whined and cried until they got all the people who had been invited (that were not on the list) got booted. I don’t know how many people got uninvited but one guy I talked to said his wife was so mad she told him to quit. (she was that mad) they could have atleast sent us on some other kind of trip to disneyland or something to make up for being so unprofessional about the whole thing. Vince is super pissed about the whole thing even more cause this is the second time this has happend to him…the first one was a few years ago to Cancun that he actually earned and they uninvited a bunch of people so these new guys could come instead and bring their wifes or girlfriends.
So yeah this has not been a very good week… on Monday I overstretched my Achilles tendon during a kickboxing class and couldn’t walk for the rest of the day, bought a bunch of new summer clothes online(cause all mine are to big now and now I have to return them all, tuesday that whole hawaii thing happend, so far today has been fine but we still have the rest of the week to live through, I wonder whats going to happen next.

Yesterday we were standing out on the front step when we see our neighbor running out of the house she yells to us “we are going to the E.R, Dylan is bleeding everywhere, the marble table fell on him” Chloe didn’t understand any of that and said ” I want to play with Dylan” we brought her in and told her that Dylan had an owie on his face and he couldn’t play today. We left a while later to go to the grocery store and Chloe kept asking about Dylan I told her he would be ok and the doctors would make him feel better, but she still kept asking and was very concerned that he broke his lips. They called us later and told us that Dylan had a broken nose, we told Chloe that and she was very sad, I said again that he would be ok and that it will be fixed soon, she said “but he still has an owie.” we ended up taking her over there so she could see that he was ok, that made her happy, she gave him a big hug and we left. I really didn’t think that she would be so upset over that, it was so cute.

Chloe has always been a good helper around the house when it comes to cleaning, either picking up toys, vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting ( while singing the clean up song) anyway…tonight right before pj’s she was playing with her doctor set listening to her bears heart beat, I said “lets clean up toys and get on jammies” and this was the rest of the conversation…
Chloe: “but I’m a doctor mom”
Me: “well hurry and help and we can play for 5 more minutes”
Chloe: “but I’m a doctor”
Me: ” well doctor’s can help clean up toys”
Chloe: ” no they cant mom” (very matter of factly)
Me: ” yes they do..”
Chloe: ” they dont” ( this continues a few more rounds)
then chloe finally says ” no they listen to your heart and give you a sucker”
I just laughed, I can see why she thinks that though, when she goes that’s pretty much what he does, it was just really funny that she said that to get out of cleaning up her toys.
So, I went to the gym yesterday and I can not believe how sore my butt is. I go to a class and i’m pretty sore, I’ve been going for a few months now, but I changed my weights and resistance bands and am I feeling it…but I can’t let it stop me…we are going to Hawaii next month, I’m hoping by then I will look good enough to set foot on the beach, I’m going about 5 days a week for an hour and not eating, j/k i’m eating 
I’m just trying to see if I can post a picture, if it worked, this is one of the pictures I sent in to gap casting call for new baby gap and gap kid models…maybe this will be the new face of Gap
