High School rivals, you gotta love it, every student dressed in their school colors, and acting as crazy and loud as can be, and doing the most obnoxious things you could imagine!! I went to my little brothers basketball game “the civil war” it was against their rival school the Hillcrest Knights, (every game against eachother is called the civil war) anyway, for as long as I can remember Hillcrest has always done the stupidest things to get into trouble, I remember one time while I was in high school, they threw out rolls of toilet paper onto the court when we scored our first basket, last year they captured a duck from the river and let it loose during the game, but nobody knew who actually did it so there were no charges or fines against anyone, every year during Bonneville’s spirit week over the weekend, the knights will come paint all over Bonneville’s huge spirit rock in front of the school, and at Friday nights game I guess the “plan” (my brother heard this from friends over at Hillcrest) was to let a pig loose during the game, well I guess at the pep assembly the students were told if anything was done then the team would have to forfeit the game. So their minds kept busy for another idea… which was putting newspapers in front of their faces as Bonneville’s team was being announced, totally ignoring them. which is better than anything else I guess. So the game was played, and Bonneville, of course won, with my brother shooting a sweet 3 pointer. Although Hillcrest isn’t the only school that has done something awful, I remember Skyline High School took cats and hung them by their tails from the goal post at Idaho Falls High School before their big game (they are the other local High School rivals). I just can’t believe how people can be so cruel to animals just to get attention! and how can they not get caught at these things! some people are so immature! but I do want to add, at the end of the game there was some decent Hillcrest band members 2 trumpet players and a drummer who went over to the Bonneville side and played their school song to help them celebrate!! GO BEES!!!

1st doctors appointment
So I am feeling a little better today and called the doctor, I asked the receptionist if I could get in today to get my blood pressure checked and ask about feeling light headed, all she said was “oh they’ll check all that on your first appointment” which isn’t scheduled till the 23rd. I asked to speak to the nurse and she said she’ll have to call me later, I really wasn’t impressed with the receptionist! so anyway…the nurse called me about an hour later I told her how my blood pressure was really high with my first, and I checked it a few weeks ago and it was 135/81 so I’ve been taking it easy, not going to the gym or anything, but still kinda worried about it, she told me to come in at 2:00, yeah!! my blood pressure today was 130/90 so it was even higher, she talked to Dr. Barton and he said that we should treat it now so it won’t get as bad as it did before. Wohoo!! then she asked me about nausea, I told her that it hit me really hard yesterday, and how bad it was with my other one, she gave me meds for that too!! (I love that nurse practitioner!!) I got 2 different ones for nausea, one for the day and one for night that will knock me out!! yeah I get to sleep!! did I mention I really love that nurse!! so anyway, I got home not to long ago, took one of the nausea meds and now 20 mins later I could totally go do something now, too bad I;m still tired, so tomorrow i’ll be able to get out, maybe I can even go to the gym!! WOHOO!!!!!!! they want me to come in again next week to check my blood pressure again jsut to make sure it went down!! so with the help of medication…I get to have a good pregnancy!!! oh yeah, she said my blood sugar might be low, that’s why I’m feeling light headed, so I have to eat more protein to see if that helps

I think I jinxed myself, I’m not feeling so good anymore. Yesterday evening is when it hit me and then hit really hard at about 2am, I didn’t sleep at all! I threw up about every 20-30 minutes till about 6am it was horrible, after that I still didn’t sleep, I’m starting to remember why I used to say I was never going to get pregnant again. So I went back on the soup diet again, hopefully it can be a today thing only cause I can’t do this again! I was going to make a doctors appointment today but I didn’t think I’d be able to leave the house so hopefully tomorrow I’ll feel better so I can go, if not, I’ll go anyway and tell them they have to give me something so I won’t be so sick, I recently heard of a B6 shot they can give, I’m so begging for that!
and the good news…..
okay, so for those of you who don’t know, I’m pregnant, word seemed to travel really fast so I’m sure everyone does (if you don’t sorry, call me and ask how i”m doing and I’ll tell you the news) I’m not very far along at all, only like 6 maybe 7 weeks along, I can already tell that this ones going to be different, hopefully meaning it’s gonna be a boy! I’m not a sick as I was with Chloe, I’ve only felt a little nauseous in the morning the past couple days but today I’m doing good, as long as there is constant food going into my mouth, so I’m trying to be careful with what is going in, I’m NOT going to gain as much weight with this one!!! (that can be the new year resolution) I don’t remember being so tired though, it’s horrible, I haven’t been napping in the day, cause Chloe’s naps aren’t that long, and if I take one with her it’s always worse when I get up cause it’s just not enough for me, but I do just lay on the couch and watch tv, or get on the computer, but then night comes and I”m so tired you’d think I’d sleep all night but I wake up after about 2 maybe 3 hours and I’ll be up the rest of the night, I’ve been doing that for the past 4 nights so yesterday I bought some unisom and last night I slept so good!!!
GO FISH
Chloe got a go fish game from Santa, she loves it, we’ve been playing it so much, it’s so fun to play it with her, she’s actually really good, we don’t really have to help her and she wins. Here is one of the funniest conversations we have:
VINCE: Chloe, do you have any Clown fish?
CHLOE: no, go fish
CHlOE: mommy, do you have any Clown fish?
ME: do you even have any Clown fish cards?
CHLOE: nope, go fish
it’s hilarious, we’re trying to teach her that she only gets to ask for cards that she already has, but sometimes she’ll forget and ask what we just asked her for. Anyway, it’s time for me to go get ready since it’s noon
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
The snow has finally stopped (so far) the sun is shining, but it is still freezing out but atleast it’s not snowing and gray out, the new year is starting out great!! New Years Eve was not really that eventful, we just went to dinner and went home, I was really wanting Olive Garden but it was an hour wait, so we went to Chili’s instead, where all 3 of us had cold food. We didn’t even stay up till midnight, Chloe went to sleep about 10:00 and me and Vince just watched t.v in bed and I fell asleep, this was the first year ever that I stayed home, oh well though, I don’t really care anymore, I guess being a mom takes alot of the fun parties away, but, that’s ok, because I love being a mom!
Chloe has been so cute with all her new toys from Christmas, she is cooking so much in her kitchen, some of the things she has made is…hot dog soup, french fry soup, pizza, cakes and cookies. she needs to work on the soups though today she played with her Hello Kitty house, she’s getting the role playing thing down and it’s so cute!!
I’m watching friends as I’m typing this and I just realized something, Chloe is gonna turn out like Monica!!! Oh NO!!! for a while now she has had to have things a certain way, seriously, on some things she’s’ crazy, if we refill her cup at lunch or dinner and when we put in back on the table she says “no it doesn’t go right there, it goes right here!!” so we’ll put it where she points and it’s still not right, she’ll move it barely to the side or turn it so it’s facing a certain way, it’s kinda funny, but I really hope it’s just a toddler thing and she’ll get over most of it.
I’m moving!
I’m moving away from Idaho!! I’m going to live in the Caribbean!!!! wohoo!! I just bought a hammock and I’m just gonna find two palm trees to tie it too for sleeping, other that I’m laying on the beach! I’m so excited for the sand, green trees, ocean, sunsets, and warmth!! I wish! it’s just so cold here and the snow is not stopping, it has been snowing for like 5 straight days and I’m just about done with it, how much longer till spring??
I was going to clean my house right now because Chloe is sleeping but after I put her toys away I decided to be done, I’m to tired to do that right now, last night I got into the deep cleaning mood, swept and mopped my floors and cleaned my baseboards in the bathrooms, but I really didn’t pick up the stuff that has been scattered around from Christmas, maybe by the New Year I’ll clean up. or maybe I’ll just take all my Christmas stuff down that might get me into the cleaning mood.
You know how people say that microfiber couches are amazing? well I’m really not that impressed anymore, Chloe will leave a cup on the couch and it will leak out, so I go get a wet towel and rub it out like they say, and I still get a nasty little water mark where the water was, it bugs me, (can you even shampoo microfiber couches?) so I think the next time I go shopping for couches I’ll get an upholstered couch or maybe even leather.
Christmas
what a busy and fun couple of days this has been, Christmas Eve we drove to my mom’s in a blizzard to be with the rest of my family, we ate(of course) and opened some presents, it was alot of fun until Chloe started to cough that she did not like and got cranky, it was really late so we just went home, we got back about 11:30 and put her to bed, she woke up at about 1:30 coughing her poor little lungs out I felt so bad, we gave her some medicine and let her watch tv in out room for a little while and then went back to bed, until 4:30 when she woke up again coughing her lungs up, it was a pretty long night.
At 9:30 Chloe woke up and we went to see what Santa had brought…she got one of those 3d view things with a bunch of different slides, go fish, a couple cars she’d been asking for, and the movie Rattattoullie ( I’m sure that’s spelled wrong but I don’t want to go find the movie to spell it right) then she opened the rest of her presents, I think she was a little overwhelmed with everything, she just kinda stared at the pile in front of her, she got spoiled, just to name a few…a kitchen (from us) a dang cute sweater (from Aunt Marisa) a book and pj’s (from Erica) a hopper ball and more from Grandma and Grandpa Brandt) and so much more stuff, I’ll post pics on flickr. After presents were open we got ready and drove back to my Mom’s for more presents and food, again Chloe was overwhelmed with presents but she had fun, until yet again her cough came back, it was such a bad hacking cough her eyes were watering and she started to gag a little, poor girl, I sent Vince to Walgreens for some cough medicine to see if that would help, the pharmacist gave us some of the “best” otc medicine which helped but I’m still taking her to the doctor once she wakes up from her nap.
I mentioned the blizzard we got…yeah it was so bad outside, you could only see a about 100 yards in front of you, the snow flakes were huge, and it was not stopping, we had to drive our 4runner that’s lifted 6″ to make it through the snow because our infinity would probably not make it out of the garage. now the snow has stopped (for now) and now it’s just so cold it’s numbing. We drove to Idaho Falls this morning and the roads there were not even plowed…it was such a mess, I don’t think I’m going to go anywhere after we go to the doctor, I’m gonna hibernate till April!!
Christmas parties, and mean girls!!!
I love Christmas time, I could do without the snow, (except on Christmas Day, I don’t mind that) but anyway, I am so proud of myself…Christmas shopping is done woohoo!!! I’m usually still shopping a few days before Christmas and stressed out because I can’t find that perfect gift for someone, I had no problems this year, I had an idea for everybody, even my Uncle, I drew his name this year on my side of the family and at first I was like great he is the worst person to get, but I saw the Nativity Story dvd at the store and thought that would be perfect for him so this year was stress-free!!!:)
We finally got snow, blah, I don’t think it’ll melt this time though, it’s a high of 25 in the day and below 0 at night brrrrr! I just keep thinking that today I should be in Hawaii… I’m still bitter towards apex right now, 
it’s probably like 80 degrees there and here it’s 20 and snowing.
Chloe’s still being a little monster, she’s starting the back-talking (isn’t she still to young to do that? I wasn’t expecting that yet) she’s constantly saying no and when we tell her to do something like eat your dinner she’ll come back and say ” how bout I’m all done” we’ll say “how about you finish eating” and she’ll say ” how about I go play” it’s back and forth all day everyday…ahhh please tell me it’s going to stop when she’s 3 and it’s not going to get worse, (even if it is just tell me what I want to hear…thanks )
We went to Apex’s Christmas party on Tuesday night, it was really fun, it was a Hawaiian theme, they had palm trees, surfboards, even a smoked pig, I mean the entire pig, head, feet everything, it actually looked really gross and after seeing it I didn’t plan on eating it, but once it was cut up in pieces and didn’t see a head attached I ate some and it was so yummy! Santa came for the kids, Chloe was really excited to see him walk in, but she was scared to sit on his lap, so that’s why Vince is in the picture with her. we had a white elephant gift exchange at the end, and from something that happend during the game ( i’ll tell you the story in a sec) Chloe and the gift that she got has been talked about with everybody and probably will be talked about forever.
Here’s the story:
So the first present was opened by some guy, it was a big pink puppy dog purse, his wife thought it was so cute. My turn came and I took the puppy dog purse (you could take other peoples gifts instead of getting one from the pile, in case you didn’t know ) I knew Chloe would love this, she came over to me and hugged it and had a conversation with it) I really didn’t think she would care I was taking it for a little girl. After everybody got a gift, we went around again and exchanged for what we wanted and nothing could be traded more than 5 times. This is where the drama started, it was the wifes turn of the guy who opened the puppy purse, I was holding the purse while Chloe went and got a cookie with Vince, she came over and took the dog, and gave me some lotion, Chloe comes back and of course she asks ” where is my puppy?” I told her that a girl took it, and that we can get something else, she started to cry, and everybody at apex loves Chloe anyway so they all felt bad for her and it was on…people started to trade their gifts to get the puppy back to Chloe, when we finally got it back, I took Chloe to go change her diaper ( and of course she was holding the puppy) and I was told that when we walked off that girl who took it got mad and said hey she’s leaving already and it’s not over yet!! they yelled to her that I was just changing a diaper and we’d be back. but it was her turn to trade again, she searched through the building to find us and the dog, she walked into the room while I was getting the stuff ready, and Chloe was holding the dog, she said “I’m trading, I want the dog back” I was like your seriously going to take it from a 2 year old and make her cry again? this was her responce…” well I work with disabled kids and I have a kid to!” and grabbed it from Chloe and walked off. she traded the 6th season of 24 for the dog, so I was happy but I still wanted that dog for Chloe and she was so upset again. but since everybody at apex loves Chloe so much they started trading their stuff for the puppy to get it back to chloe, it was traded 5 times and given back to Chloe, the game was over, and that girl was so mad!!! over a stupid pink dog purse! she walked out after that game. and the worst thing was poor Chloe was so traumatized about the girl taking it away from her she had a nightmare that night and woke up screaming cause the girl took her purse away again!! How sad is that?! That stupid girl better hope she doesn’t see us again!
the no good, very bad day…
Okay, so it wasn’t that bad, but it could have been better, it started off with me missing my kick-boxing class, I only went to the gym once last week so I was really wanting to go but with Vince gone, it’s hard for me to get Chloe fed, dressed, and me ready to go. It really shouldn’t be hard, but Chloe is starting to not eat at all, or takes forever, Vince usually brings her towards the end of my class cause her class is after mine then Vince gets his workout and I watch Chloe in her class.
At about 10am we went over to a friends house to play, and she ends up having the biggest tantrum ever (over a stupid pink fishing pole) I give her a couple chances to calm down and share it with the other little girl that also wanted it but she kept screaming about it and so I finally just took her home, kicking and screaming at the top of her lungs!
It snowed again, not alot, it really didn’t even stick, I don’t know why but that also put me in a bad mood, I really don’t like snow, I know it’s December and we should have feet of it, and I live in Idaho and should love it, but I don’t. I don’t mind the dead grass look, for now. I think I need to go tanning, that might put me in a better mood.
Vince is in Kentucky this week for some training with Honeywell, I hate it when he leaves that also puts me in a bad mood, I hate being alone, but atleast I’m not in a scary house anymore.
On a good note…Chloe got a new bed last week, she loves it, I love it, and if I didn’t have to share a bed, I’d totally get one 
I thought she would have a hard time with the transition to a big girl bed because when we took the side off her crib and made it a toddler bed she made us turn it around so the opening was against the wall, we did cause I didn’t want her to be so stressed about changing beds, but now I thought it’s time to get her a bigger bed, she’s way to big now. We painted her room pink, she was so excited when it was done, she kept rubbing the walls, it was really cute.
